turkey’s distinct geography allows for the developpement of this field. . The Turkish Republic includes four
distinct seas, namely the Black Sea, the Mediterranean, the Aegean Sea and the Sea of Marmara, which
contributes to the identification of different and varied marine fauna and flora including the cnidarian species
which provides the possibility of in-depth study of the systematics of cnidarians. . I aim in particular to join
Istanbul University, given the accurate and analytical means and tools that the university provides necessary for
academic research, I possess advanced analytical skills and I want to utilize these skills to the maximum. I feel
that it can provide me will constitute a unique and invaluable experience, and I am confident that if I had the
opportunity to study at this university that attracts the best students from all over the world, it will provide a
competitive enough environment to bring out the best I have. When I found out about majoring in biodiversity
and and ecosystem management I realized that it is a subject that combines both the science and
management. As it is a branch of science defined by through biology and ecosystem management, which
aroused my interest a lot, and I decided to continue my studies in it, I am interested in all kinds of departments
of this science due to the peculiarity of each section that distinguishes it from the rest of the departments, but
my passion in particular is focused on my major in marine biology and ecosystem’s management and I seek to
obtain a Master 2 degree,where I aim from behind that to arm myself with the necessary skills and capabilities
that allow me to run my own company in the future. I aspire to return to my country to apply the experiences I
got during my study experience in Turkey. My passion has always been centered around helping others and
improving their quality of life. So I will pursue to major in ecology, study cnidarians, and add my knowledge to
the field of biotechnology research. Furthermore, I want to contribute once again to providing aid to the
disadvantaged population groups in my country, rise the economy and pharmaceutical field.

« my theme aims to identify and inventory the cnidarians of the Turkish coasts to finally make a comparison
with the cnidarian species of the Algerian coasts. For the first phase, I intend to study the environmental
conditions of the Turkish coast (climatology, hydrodynamics, pollution, depth, ... etc.) and the biology of
cnidarians to choose from as well as sampling methods. Then move on to the choice of methods and the
appropriate conditions. Then comes the field phase, to successfully sample marine cnidarians, you have to dive
to different depths and visit several types of substrates. The samples will then be stored and brought to the
laboratory for identification (macroscopic and microscopic). Once the identification is made, comes the step of
establishing the list of identified cnidarians. At the end, there is the comparison with the data from the Algerian
coast”

Marine cnidarians are present in several modes: benthic mode and pelagic mode. I intend to opt for methods
adequate to the lifestyle of the cnidarians: my sampling will be oriented to these methods: multi-stage
sampling, multi-phase sampling, startified sampling, simple sampling, also I intend to use siphoning, scraping,
catching. All this to ensure representative sampling

this study will help to train me as much as a systematist of cnidarians, those who suffer in Algeria. Then,
contribute to the evolution of the biotechnology of organisms (identify cnidarians with a biotechnological
interest, identify and extract the target molecules). Try to orient the pharmaceutical field to these molecules,
and find how to convince them to replace synthetic products with natural products. Manage the exploitation of
cnidarians in such a way as not to alter the stability of ecosystems and to preserve and protect the species

beaucoup d'autre ordres intéressants. Pour bien les exploité on doit les etudier de prés afin d'assurer une
bonne exploitation et un bonne préservation biensur.
