MECHANICS OF THE T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION

1. The contest is open to all batches of Justimbaste-Remandaban National High School from
1972 to 2017 (except the host batch).

2. Registration fee is P200.00 per batch. Deadline of payment is on May 31, 2017.

3. Designs can be in the form of graphics or words or a combination of both and may appear on
the front or at the back of the t-shirt.

4. The following criteria shall be used in judging:

Originality 30%
Balance and Composition 30%
Craftsmanship 20%
Relevance to the Theme 20%
Total 100%

Originality The ideas are not copied from any source especially the internet.
Balance and Composition Design elements are artistically arranged.
Craftsmanship Mastery of technical skills is displayed.
Relevance to the Theme The design must emphasize this years theme, Tana,
pagkaurusa, pagrayhak kita!

5. Entries shall be judged based on actual printed t-shirt design submitted not later than June 3,
2017.

6. There are five (5) judges in this competition. One (1) representative will be selected from
each of the following sectors: JRNHS Faculty Association, Host Batch 2002 and JRNHS
Student Body Organization and two (2) visual or graphic design artists.

7. Cash prizes of the winning entries are as follows:

1st Prize P1,000.00

2nd Prize P 800.00
3rd Prize P 600.00
4th Prize P 400.00
5th Prize P 200.00

All participating batches shall receive Certificates of Appreciation.

8. Winning entries shall be announced during the 5th Grand Alumni Fellowship Night on June 8,
2017.

9. All submitted designs shall become properties of the JRNHS Alumni Association.

10. The decision of the Board of Judges is irrevocable and final.
