contractor to do the work. I will contact him in two weeks for status update.
6/1/2015 RTEGAN Notice of Violation sent regular and certified mail (#7003 1680 0001 3659 2212) on 5-28-15 with
a Violation Appeal and Brochures. Ownership verified per County Assessor on 5-27-15: no
change to owner name or mailing address.
2/9/2016 IRAMIREZ Owner called back said he was unsure as to what the next step is but that he removed the walls
as part of demo permit. I clarified demo permit allows for removal of wall but still requires
unfinished surfaces to be closed, sealed and finished in order to final permit. Informed him he
must show progress by having at least a passing inspection by next code inspection on 3/9/16.
Informed him he will at least need 3, rough, wall board and final. Also suggested he pick up new
job card if he cant find it.
2/9/2016 IRAMIREZ No progress noted at address. No signs of contraction work or materials noted.
10/5/2015 IRAMIREZ Informed owner he MUST have application and plans approved by 12/4/15, also advised him to
discus with permit technicians requirements for Soft Story structures. will monitor 11/6

convert unit to deli. Owner wants to prepare plans to convert it back to a studio. Had a field
check on 9/11 with D.Miles , no comment or result for it. SSRV on property on 8/31 that I am
not aware of. Notified owner to home in and ask for more information on what requirement will
need.
8/28/2015 IRAMIREZ Owner came in to obtain permit. Filed Check pending. Will follow up 9/3/14
8/25/2015 IRAMIREZ Re-inspection letter to come.
8/25/2015 IRAMIREZ Owner never obtained RB permit. Called owner and lease and left them a message urging them
to contact me and obtain a permits
7/23/2015 IRAMIREZ Tenant provided contact info for health department inspector but could not provide date and
also indicated plan revisions where required. spoke with owner who says he will not start
constructor until next year. I advised him to come in and obtain a permit to cover open wall to
avoid fee charges. he will come in next week to obtain permit
7/9/2015 IRAMIREZ Owner called and informed me Tenant met with the health department 7/8/15, but hasn't been
able to get into contact with her. I asked him to come in and get a general repair permit if they
are not going to add the kitchen or if they are not ready by 7/29/15. Plans are partially complete
I received an emailed copy previously,.
7/9/2015 IRAMIREZ Left owner and tenant both a message urging them to contact me and give me an up date and
indicating the re-inspection date has passed and they need to provide for me an update showing
progress.
7/2/2015 IRAMIREZ Nancy emailed plans. I told her to bring 4 copies and the health dept permit to apply for permit
along with Notarized letter from owner.
6/30/2015 IRAMIREZ Left tenant a message 575-1289 informing her of re-inspection and no permit on file and other
requirements
6/30/2015 IRAMIREZ Left Jain Nirmal 925-366-6066 a message informing him he must contact me asap to give me an
update and provide information that may justify an extension.
5/27/2015 IRAMIREZ 5/21/15 violation verified. Unapproved remodel of store front unit on the first level. Obtain
