Dear Sir,

In connection with the subject as cited above and in reference to your letter no.
11015/NHAI/ABP-1/Settlement/PIU/Alld/19646 dated 06/03/2017, you may kindly
refer to our letter no. L&T/Allahabad/NHAI/2016-05 dated 19/12/2016.

The issue of settlement at Abutment A-2(LCW) has already been addressed in

our letter of 19/12/2016 as referred above and the same according to our
understanding and as also endorsed by M/s Egis in their letter dated
18/12/2016, stands settled.

In reference to your proposal to carry out the survey, as also brought out in our
letter dated 19/12/2016, it may be carried out as considered appropriate, this
being a routine exercise relating to normal upkeep & monitoring of the structure.

In view of our submissions made vide letter dated 19/12/2016 and as retreated
above, we request that our Bank Guarantee may kindly be released at the
earliest.
