The bar chart belows reveal data of people living alone in

Great Britain, confirgued by sexes and ages.

Overall, the percentage of people living alone in Great

Britain almost coordinately rising with the maturity of both sexes. For
starters, averagely, solo young adults between the ages of 16 and 24
only had a few percentages, but the number kept surging until it
accounted for almost 45% in the eldery groups.

Males between 16 and 64 bypassed their opposite sex in

solo living. Remarkably, the middle-aged male adults between 25 and
44 gained a much greater proportion than female ones, almost
doubled them in numbers. The rise of men living alone continued and
reached a high when it came to the elderly, soaring from around 5%
to almost 30%, an increase of nearly 25% from the starting point.

On the other hand, females dominated two out of five

given age groups. Both of them belonged to the elderly, which had
the highest percentage of people living alone. In these categories,
their numbers were skyrocketed compared to males'. Especially in
group of the elderly from 75 and over, females were not just almost
doubled their other halves' proportion, they also made an impressive
record with approapproximately 60%.

In conclusion, the age groups proved that even though

males had a better start with more percentages, but in the end they
were overthrown by females and the trend of living alone in Great
Britain showed no sign of stopping.
