Perbedaan Kepuasan Kerja Antara Karyawan Tetap Dengan Karyawan Kontrak Di Pt. Pertamina Trans Kontinental Dumai Tahun 2016 Dhanys Ayu Sartika Email
Abstract
Satisfaction is the affective or emotional responses toward the various aspects of a
person's job. One matter that must be aware for the company to its employees is the
job satisfaction of employees that can directly affect the stability of the company.
Permanent employees in accordance with Act No. 13 2003 is the employee who has
qualified specified, acceptable, employed and wages/salaries and bound in the
employment relationship with the company for a period that is not certain. Employee
contracts in accordance with Act No. 13 2003 is the employees who are bound in a
limited working relationship with the company on the basis of employment
agreement for a specified period. This study used comparative analytic method with
cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 30 people. The sampling
technique used nonprobability sampling with sampling quotas in order to get 20
peoples, 10 permanent employees and 10 contract employees. The analysis used Chi
Square test with the results (p=0.02) and the results is p-value <0.05. It showed that
there were differences in job satisfaction between permanent employees with contract
employees at PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental Dumai. The result was 3 permanent
employees were less satisfied and 7 were satisfied, and 3 contract employees were not
satisfied and 7 people were less satisfied. It suggested for the company to consider
aspects of employment for permanent and contract workers can be maintained so that
morale and job satisfaction can be improved, that affect the performance of the
employees and the company itself.
