MW steam turbine coal fired power plant & its supporting auxiliary
plant.
To start up, operate and shut down the 700 MW coal fired unit and
its associated auxiliaries safely based on manufacturers operation
& maintenance manuals. To start up, operate and shut
down Balance of Plants equipment/system associated with the main
plant operations.
To monitor plant operating parameters to ensure the plant is
operating at its optimum level with regard to safety, efficiency and
availability at all times.
To carry out routine changeover of auxiliaries, and testing of plant
protective devices.
Assist the Shift Charge Manager to communicate with the National
Load Dispatch Centre of Tenaga National Berhad in achieving the
load required.
Conform and comply with all statutory legal regulatory and
legislation requirements enforced in Malaysia such as OSHA 194,
FMA 1967Employment Act and Electricity Supply Act 1994, etc.
Supervised and guide subordinates to accomplish managements
