Reflection

The Visual Rhetoric Essay was to find a Mural in great LA area and descried a physical description

of the mural as evidence for your argument and the mural has to be carefully analyzed for hidden

meaning. The Mural I choose was We Are Not Minority by Mario Torero and in this assignment I got

a 38/50. For the reason I had trouble with the organization and the focal point of the essay,

spelling /grammar , and my thesis were the biggest problems I had. The way I feel I need to do to

get a better score on this essay was to do the things listed above, so i took out 2 paragraph for the

reason that I dont talk about the mural as much and only talk about latinos and the social impact. So

I incorporate the mural more, rather than latinos to create a better focal point. I accomplish this by

adding 2 paragraphs more about the description of mural by adding Che Guevara and Uncle Sam to

the essay. I also took out the 2 first original body paragraph and made it into one big paragraph for

the fact that they were too similar. I also made my original 3 body paragraph into my Conclusion

Paragraph for the reason I felt that the original 3 body paragraph was to similar and could be a

conclusion paragraph as well also due to giving my final thought about the message. Lastly what i

did is i went to different people to reread my essay to find grammar or spelling mistake.
