Lens Assignment

Focal Length- F ocal length, usually represented in millimeters (mm), is the basic description of a photographic lens. It is
not a measurement of the actual length of a lens, but a calculation of an optical distance from the point where
light rays converge to form a sharp image of an object to the digital sensor.

lens whose focal length is substantially smaller than the focal length of a normal lens for a given film
Wide Angle Lens- A
plane.

Medium Or Normal Angle Lens- A lens that reproduces a field of view that appears "natural" to a human observer

Telephoto Lens- A lens with a longer focal length than standard, giving a narrow field of view and a magnified image.

Prime/Fixed Focal Length Lens- A photographic lens whose focal length is fixed, as opposed to a zoom lens, or it is the
primary lens in a combination lens system.

Zoom Lens (Variable Aperture)- A mechanical assembly of lens elements for which the focal length (and the angle of
view) can be varied.

Zoom Lens (Fixed Aperture)- Most cellphones have fixed aperture lenses. It is a constant maximum aperture lens.
Which means that at each focal length in the range has the same maximum aperture.
