INTERNSHIP .
Honeywell Electrical Devices and Systems India Ltd., Chennai. (May 2016)
Worked with technicians of Honeywell to automate calibration of Low pressure warning devices
using LVDT and Microcontroller. Gained knowledge and experience from technicians and their work
culture.
PROJECT WORK .
AIR HOCKEY (November 2016-January 2017)
Developed a air hockey platform with a 2-DOF serial manipulator actuated by Dynamixel Servos with
PID controlled at one end that autonomously tracks the disc by Image processing(using webcam
mounted on top of the platform) in Opencv-Python and exhibit a real-time response to play with the
player at the other end.
eLAN-G - IOT (August 2016)
Designed a better Water efficient irrigation system for farmland and lawns. Processed data from the
installed Soil moisture, Humidity sensors and weather data acquired from the cloud in Intel Edison and
sensibly watered a lawn.
EXOS - Wearable Robotic Exoskeleton (November 2015-January 2016)
A self-fabricated glove to assist patients with upper hand disabilities by amplifying their actions and
also provide rehabilitation. A Bio-inspired Underactuated cable-driven mechanism to move the fingers
naturally was developed. PID control was successfully implemented to actuate servo motors.
ELBOT - Face and Gender Recognition (August 2015March 2016)
Image processing for feature detection and Principal Component Analysis for feature extraction was
implemented. Neural Network using Backpropagation algorithm for digit and face recognition was
successfully trained and tested .
