Present: Financial systems management expert at SHIFAT
Brief: SHiFAT is a local NGO registered in Somaliland and its engaged to improve and sustain the health and well-being of
all Somali people in the Horn of Africa
Main responsibilities:
Reviewing and assessing financial management systems and procedures in Erigavo hospital, including flow of funds.
Also reviewing capacity assessment study report of the MoH-SDF to incorporate recommendations and identify skill
gaps.
Developing financial integrity and ensuring transparent financial management.
Developing training protocols/materials for the capacity development of the managers. And conducting both formal
and on the job trainings/mentoring.

Leone and Nairobi Kenya hosted by different organizations and companies.
Conducting financial modelling for Erigavo Hospital where I am currently establishing full financial management
system including development of financial policies and procedures, internal controls, staff capacity building and
creation of accounting software that will generate accurate financial reports at the end of every month. This hospital
management project is funded by DFID and DANIDA through Somaliland Development Fund and implemented by
SHIFAT LNGO.
