stresses at Storm condition with acceleration, STR. The difference of the two stresses, Stress
Range, are then compared with the Allowable Stress Ranges, So allowable from Rules and
Regulations for Classification of Offshore Units (ROU) 2016, Table A2.1, Details of basic
S-N curves, as shown below:
