General Objectives

To develop an online class scheduling system for Pag-asa National High School that would
efficiently and consistently satisfy the scheduling requirements.

User Objectives

To properly distribute schedule of teachers and students.

Administrator Objectives

To provide a more accurate way of scheduling classes.

To eliminate the use of manual scheduling and provide easier and effective way of
scheduling.

Scope and Delimitation

The system will be a web-based application software that will be accessed by the principal as the
administrator.

The system administrator will be the one to manage the information contained in the system
and the students will be able to access their class schedules upon logging in.

The system will contain the schedule of teachers in a certain department and the class schedule.

It will not cover anymore the teachers and students personal information, grades and payment
of students.

o Maximum is 8 and minimum is 4.

o The principal or the officer in charge.
What are the problems being encountered in the making of class schedules using the manual
class scheduling system?
o Time consuming.
o Vulnerable to duplication of loads.
o Not easy in finding errors.
o Its an oftentimes burdensome task that can require significant time and staff resources
to properly manage.
o Decision-making process also gets more difficult.
How do you process the manual scheduling system?
o First separate the teaching employee by department.
o Get the total of students enrolled in each grade level
 o Sectioning the students using Heterogeneous grouping.
o Arrange time for each subject.
o Assign teacher for each subject.
o Entrust an adviser for each class.
What are your expectations for the class scheduling system?
o Improve the performance of managing schedules in terms of speed, accuracy, and data
handling.
