General Notes:

1. This drawing should be read along with architectural drawings.


2. Grade of concrete mix shall M20 confirming to IS:456-2000
3. Reinforcement shall be high strength deformed bars of grade fe:415
confirming to IS: 1786-2000
4. Clear cover to the main steel

50 for footing, raft slabs & raft beams

40mm for columns

25 for lintel & beams

15 for sunshade & slab

5. Not more than half the column bars shall be lapped at a section.
6. Confining stirrups in beam column junction shall be provided in Z
portion at the spacing indicated. However if beams are connected on all the
four directions of columns the spacinf should be doubled in case of difficulty
in providing closed stirrups, u type stirrups may be provided
7. Lap length shall be 50 times the diameter of bar.
8. Column longitudinal reinforcement ELL for eccentric footing 85cm for
other 60cm
9. Provided continuous chairs to keep the top reinforcement in position.
10.Spacer bar to be provided in between two layers of reinforcement of same
dia at every 1000 c/c
11.Not more than 40% of reinforcement shall be lapped at the particular
junction.
12.Cantilever props should not be released until the roof is concreted
13.For earthquake analysis zone 3 is taken as per IS: 1893-1984code.
14.Removal of formworks

For Slab:
Slab spanning up to 4.5m (15-0) 7 days

Slab spanning over 4.5m (15-0) 14 days

For beam and archers:


Beams and archers spanning up to 6m (20-0) 14 days

Beam and archers spanning over 6m (20-0) 21 days

15.Depth of foundation (6-0) upto ground level
