A Polygon is a shape with straight sides.

In a regular shape, the


sides are the same length and the angels are the same size too.
In an irregular shape, they are not all the same.
A quadrilateral is a shape with four sides.

Triangles have three sides. There are four types of
triangles. Right-angled, Isosceles, Equilateral and Scalene

When a shape is folded in half and it is the SAME on both sides
Line of Symmetry: The horizontal or vertical line that shows
the symmetry of the shape or object.
A rotation or turn is a type of transformation. The size and
the shape of an object does not change. Only the placement
changes by rotating along a point.
When object or shape enlarges in size.
I use my knowledge of the sounds of the vowels,
consonants and blends in my spelling.

I spell most common words correctly. (High Frequency - 1 - 4).

I use resources around the classroom such as junior dictionaries


and word lists.

I spell unknown words by using my knowledge of sound and letter


connections

-question marks
-exclamation marks

letters correctly and easily so they can be
