Dear Ms. Amatulli,

I am writing this letter on behalf of Carrie Hough. I am confirming that Carrie worked full time at the Wyndham
Garden Hotel as Food and Beverage Manager from September 2000 to November 2001. My position was Hotel
General Manager.

Carries main responsibilities as Food and Beverage Manager was to manage the restaurant and lounge employees
which included: Training employees to provide excellent customer service to hotel guests and local patrons, managing
hotel room service amenity packages, coordination of hotel banquet events and overseeing kitchen operations. Her
direct reports were 10 full time employees and 5 part time employees.

Carrie was also responsible for the hiring process and training of new employees as well as weekly scheduling and
labor control. Her other responsibilities included: Setting pars, managing the liquor inventory and was able to obtain a
Class C liquor license while under my employment. Carrie also had profit and loss responsibilities for her department
which included cash management, menu pricing, Point of Sale computer maintenance, inventory counts, controlling
food and liquor costs, and weekly departmental reporting at weekly group manager meetings.

Carrie was always willing to work beyond her schedule and often assisted in other departments when needed. Her
willingness to go above and beyond resulted in being selected as Manager of the Quarter in September of 2000. When I
think of a past manager that really stands out in regards of someone I would love to have on my team, wherever it may
be, Carrie has been on the top of the list.

The Leadership competencies that Carrie exhibited while in my employment were communication, teamwork, planning
and organizing, maintaining and enhancing profitability, and showing leadership courage to handle challenging
situations that occurred in the hotel business on a daily basis.
