BIOLOGICS

1. Insulin glargine + Lixisenatide Soliqua Not-in-Use Pens: Store between 2°C-
8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
In-Use Pens: Store below 25°C. Do not
refrigerate or freeze. Protect from direct
heat or light.
2. Insulin glulisine Apidra Solostar Not-in-Use Pens: Store in a refrigerator
(2°C-8°C). Do not freeze. Do not put it
next to the freezer compartment or a
freezer pack. Keep the pre-filled pen in
the outer carton in order to protect from
light.
In-Use Pens: May be stored a maximum
of 4 weeks below 25°C aware from
direct heat or light when in use or carried
as a spare. The pen in use must not be
stored in a refrigerator. Do not use it
after this time period.
3. Moderna mRNA-1273 vaccine Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Before Use: The vaccine must be in a
frozen state between -50°C and -15°C.
Unpunctured vials may be stored in the
refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C (36° to
46°F) for up to 30 days.
Punctured vials may be stored between
2°F and 25°C (36°F and 77°F) for up to
12 hours.

1. Insulin glargine + Soliqua Before first use, the pen must be taken
Lixisenatide out of the refrigerator and stored below
25°C for 1 to 2 hours.
It must not be mixed or diluted with any
other insulin.
A new needle must always be attached
before each use. Do not reuse needles
2. Insulin glulisine Apidra Solostar Protect from dust and dirt. Clean outside
of the pen by wiping it with a damp
cloth. Do not soak, wash or lubricate the
pen as it may damage it.
3. Moderna mRNA-1273 Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Must be thawed before use. Do not
vaccine refreeze thawed vaccine. Must be used
up within 12 hours, and then should be
discarded after that.

inhalation with suitable nebulizing
devices and should not be taken orally or
administered parenterally.

1. Estramustine phosphate Emcyt Patients should not be administered with
live vaccines during treatment as it may
result in serious infections due to
immunosuppression.
2. Ceftazidime pentahydrate Cefranz Before reconstitution: Store the vial in its
outer pack away from light.
After reconstitution: must be used
immediately.
3. Acetylcysteine ACC Dissolve in a glass of water after meals.
Should not be taken for more than 4-5
days without medical advice.

cream to external genital/perianal warts.

external use only. Before each
application, the skin should be cleaned
and dried.
