OBJECTIVE By the end of this lesson, students should be able to
1. Read and check the grammar, sentence structures and the spelling of the words in an essay 2. Suggest improvement for the essay check. MORAL VALUE Determination BACKGROUN In the last lesson, students have learnt about: D Narrative writing KNOWLEDGE TEACHING N/A TOOLS/AIDS ACTIVITIES 1. In this activity, students are going to be proofreading their friends work. 2. In the last class, students have completed a group essay which they have written on a big mahjong paper. For today, the finished works will be displayed around the class. 3. Teacher suggested each group to exchange their work with the other group. 4. Once they have ready, teacher give students instructions on what they need to be looking at during the proofreading activity. Students are given time to check their friends work 5. Teacher will walk around the class to facilitate the proofreading activity. If necessary, teacher will pause the activity for a few minutes to explain any important language structure based on students works. REFLECTION :
