FRL head over filling valve = 129.55 6.166 = 123.384M p = 12.338kg/cm2

Load acting on the valve = ( X 322) / 4) X 12.338 = 9923kg

Spring constant : 1833kg/cm
No of effective coils : 7.5
No of coils tip to tip : 9.25
Material : EN 45A
Spring capacity to 7.5cm deflection = 1833 X 7.5 = 13748kg > 9923kg
Hence positive closing against head.

b) Stem rod : Provided 40 - 560 long with 36mm threads.

Material : SS 20cr 13 YP: 490MPa = 4998kg/cm2
UTS :630 MPa = 6426kg/cm2
Area of M36 bolt : 8.170cm
Permissible stress : 0.40 X 4998 = 1999kg/cm2
Load carrying capacity : 1999 X 8.170 = 16332kg > 13748kg

Note : Load test table of spring is given in drawing and design of lifting arrangement
is given in hoist design.
