Preface: - I am a Liberian national with experience in Child Protection/Case Management. Motivated in
over nine (9) years of work experience in Child Protection in Emergencies, Case Management, Database
and Information Management (Inter-Agency Child Protection Information Management System (IA CP
IMS), Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), training and program coordination both at home and
abroad, with an ability to work with different kinds of people, cultures and places. I have served in Guinea,
Liberia and Nigeria in the above mentioned areas. I have experience in refugee and IDP situations with the
ability to adapt, team management, good working relationship, setting priorities and ability in meeting
timelines and producing results. More details and clarification on my experience can be found below.

Duties:
Lead and manage child protection in emergencies work in Nigeria in coordination and integration with
the overall emergency response program of SC Nigeria through:
Assessment
Supported in Program design and technical assistance to protection staff.
Response management and implementation
Build staff capacity in participation and accountability approaches
Response reporting & evaluation
Information and coordination of child protection field teams and activities.
Provide Child Protection and Case Management training (capacity building) for case workers,

Position: - Inter-Agency Child Protection Information Management System (IA CPIMS) Specialist
Duties:
Manage the national level CPIMS; use the database to ensure the information flow for verification,
referrals, case transfers and reunification between handling agencies and focal point agencies.
Monitor adherence to procedure on individual cases and ensure that roles and responsibilities are
upheld.
Train and monitor the data analyst and managers to be able to undertake similar responsibilities.
Train data clerks on the CP IMS and how to make the entries.
Coordinate and lead the Child Protection Information Management System task force.
With the support of the CPiE Advisor and the officers, Specialist, train the Data Entry Clerks and
case workers on the use of CPIMS, and filling of the case management paper forms.
Support the field teams on the use of the database, registration equipment, data backups and data
screening.
Support the day to day entries, exports and back up from the SCI Data Clerks based.
Provide technical support to the Case Management/CPIMS taskforce members on the
implementation of the CPIMS in their respective areas of operation
Support with trouble shooting on the challenges that the data clerks will be facing on the
implementation of the CPIMS.
Organise monthly meetings with the CPIMS taskforce and steer discussions on progress,
challenges, and areas of support.
Create synergies between the CPIMS and the case management task force so as to discuss the trends

Work with the CPiE Advisor to review Data protection and information sharing protocols for
Nigeria.
Collect, review and screen all data or reports from the field CP data clerks before submitting to the
CPiE Advisor, other CP staff and before sharing it with national level partners.
Produce weekly and monthly disaggregated statistics and qualitative updates of progress on case
management work based on agreed template for stakeholders and SCI internally. Periodically run
the trends and analysis from the CPIMS.
Ensure regular back-end from data clerks is imported to the CPIMS.
Track individual cases that have outstanding/overdue actions and work closely with the CP teams
to ensure progress on these cases (with implementing partners and SCI).
Ensure that good practice is followed in managing and storage of information with respect for Do
No Harm principles and confidentiality and adherence to the information sharing protocol
especially within SCI.
Comply with all relevant Save the Children policies and procedures with respect to health and
safety, security, equal opportunities and other relevant policies.
Carry out the responsibilities of the role in a way which reflects Save the Childrens commitment
to safeguarding children in accordance with the Child Protection Policy.

standards in family tracing, reunification and reintegration.
Work closely with community care and protection workers on the design of systems and procedures for

family tracing, reunification and follow up that place the best interests of the Child as the guiding principle,
and mentor them in on-going documentation and the organisation of paper information.
Manage the county level separated childrens computer database as a store for information gathered by the
community care and protection workers.
Use the database to monitor adherence to procedure on individual cases and ensure that roles and
responsibilities are upheld.
Use the database to analyse issues and themes around separation in each county and to monitor the effects
of work undertaken. Share this information with the community care and protection workers and the Child
Protection Project Officer in order to develop solutions. Mentor the community care and protection
workers in such analysis and the development of appropriate solutions.
Produce monthly, disaggregated statistics and qualitative updates of progress on separation work.
Advice Case & Information Officer on the allocation of re-integration resources based on county level
needs analysis
Draft an annual report on issues around separation in each of the three counties.
Support the EPVC (Educating and Protecting Vulnerable Children) project and the Radio Listeners survey
in Data entry and analysis for donor reporting.
Work along with UNICEF and the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection in developing data
collection tools.
Support the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to customize and set up the IA CPIMS
database with regards to context that will capture all affected children.

Duties:
Provide administrative assistance to the CSI/SGBV Program Manager.
Monitor, and record administrative files and forms and daily update of the clients or victims of SGBV
incident report forms in Excel database.
Carry out reintegration for girls and women in communities.
Act as a liaison between the field and office staff by receiving and transmitting written, and wireless
(radio) communications.
Organize and attend Coordination, and panel meetings.
Conduct mass and mini training sessions for youths and elders on Sexual and Gender Based Violence
preventive issues.
Train/sensitize implementing partners, and other NGOs on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
Train the ARC/CSI staff on SGBV preventive measures to be applied in refugee camps where SGBV
is likely to occur.
Train youths (boys/girls) on the dangers and consequences of SGBV.
