I can write my name

Malak, your mom has said sometimes you like to learn about the alphabet when you are at
home. At the centre, you have plenty of opportunities to learn about letters such as alphabet
cards that you can use pens to trace over the letter, learning how to form the letters.

Ayan has recently learned how to write her name. she was practising how to write when you
joined her. Firstly, you watched Ayan as she traced over some of the letters. I could see you
were interested in having a go. Therefore, I wrote your name on a piece of paper and got you
to trace it. After many attempts, you were confident to write your own name without having
to trace it, mashAllah, very proud of you Malak, you can now write your own name.

Malak, you are learning to develop your fine motor skills for writing. You are practising
writing letters and concentrating on this task. We also noticed that you are a very fast learner,
mashAllah! Malak, we will continue to provide you with plenty of opportunities to practise
your literacy learning.
