1. Tolerances as per spec will be adhered to. Please

refer following page where that confirmation is
provided. The steel of standard sizes shall be
procured by Mero from manufacturer. The fabrication
is done by Mero as per approved shop drawings .
While such fabrication is done by Mero, the
fabrication tolerances will be adhered to, as per the
spec, which is very clearly mentioned in our
submission, please refer following page.

2. Finishing to steel is not by the manufacturer i.e;

TATA. Finishing to steel will be done by a separate
vendor post fabrication and vendor approval for the
paint applicator will be submitted separately. This
document is for TATA steel vendor approval. This
comment by Arup is not relevant here.

3. QA QC documents paint application will come as

part of the paint applicator vendor approval
submission, not in this TATA steel document.
Mero: Please refer this. Mero has confirmed that the
fabrication tolerances as per spec shall be adhered to.
This closes point 2 in the previous page.
Mero: QA QC documents for the steel
fabrication is submitted separately as
part of project PQP and to be dealt with
there. What is given for this
manufacturer approval is the quality
policy by this manufacturer i.e; TATA
steel. TATA steel is not doing the
fabrication or painting. This query on
this document is not relevant.
