planned complex in downtown Doha, Qatar which, when completed, will be the world’s largest collection of LEED certified
buildings. The 31-hectares (76 acres, 310,000 square meters) Msherib Downtown is mixed-use development will comprise
more than 100 buildings, with a combination of commercial and residential properties, retail, cultural and entertainment areas.

Responsibilities

 Attending Inspection Requests (IR's) raised by contractors for installation of Mechanical equipment such as HVAC
ducting, duct insulation, chilled water piping, pipe insulation, air handling units, package units, heat exchangers, grills
and diffusers, motorized dampers, exhaust fans, stair pressurisation fans,VAV’s, Plumbing pipes, pipe insulation, booster
pumps, transfer pumps domestic water tanks, Fire fighting pipes,sprinklers,fire extinguisher’s, fire pumps, fire water
tanks, fire blankets, Drainage pipes, fixtures, floor drains, water closets, wash basin and hanger supports.
 Reviewing submitted shop drawings of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage and Fire fighting services against contract drawings
and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice
 Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications
and reporting to immediate supervisor for appropriate action and discharge instruction to the contractor
 Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring the same
complies with contracts / QCS specifications, safety and health risk assessment and environmental mitigating measures
respectively on a daily basis
 Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for
inspection as and when required
 Preparing Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site that are believed to have failed or if the contractor
is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently complete a Non Conformance Report (NCR) if required in
view of the development of events
 Checking and ensuring effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines
 Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise

Responsibilities

 Monitor and/or perform quality activities at all stages of projects. Assure that contractor’s work is in compliance with
SAUDI ARAMCO engineering requirements, standards, specifications, and Schedule Q of the project contract.
 Conducting inspection of material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements
for proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/ or construction sites.
 Monitoring Contractor’s Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
 Witnessing on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
 Maintaining accurate records for all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and
report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
 Compiling inspection reports and initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment
Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
 Coordinating 3rd party inspection for checking quality of work executed by the contractor. Furnishing complete reports to the
client with cost savings, including.

follow up to ensure compliance with quality & time parameters.
 Coordinating inspection and approval of MEP works. Following a defined project methodology and sequencing the MEP
activities.
 Reviewing subcontractors’ performance to ascertain they execute project activities as per SOW. Issuing letters when any
deviation from plan/ quality standards is noticed.

 Carrying out the selection of different types of grills, diffusers, slot diffusers, etc. Making heat load calculations.
