Since the foundation in 1962, our trajectory has taken us to its transformation in year 2000 into Matachana
Group, strengthened by the establishment of subsidiaries in France, Germany, Argentina and Asia Pacific
and the collaboration of distributors representing us directly in over 70 countries.
The philosophy of this family owned company with a strong international spirit, is customer orientated to

The MATACHANA sterilizers Series S1000 have been designed taking into consideration the real needs of
hospital sterilization, in hospital CSSDs, as well as in surgical areas, outpatient departments, outsourcing
sterilization services
The S1000, designed by our R+D based in Spain and Germany, is manufactured at the production
centre of Barcelona (Spain), a new plant equipped with the latest technological advances in the field of
sustainability, energy efficiency and process control. Equipment is designed by a team of German and
Spanish engineering and manufactured according to the rigorous specifications of the European Standard
EN 285:2006+A2:2009, and the international quality standards EN ISO 9001: 2008 and EN ISO 13485:
2003. This ensures that MATACHANA carries out a comprehensive quality management from equipment
design to after-sales service, passing through the production, delivery, installation and commissioning.
The S1000 main features are, the user friendly and ergonomic handling, the large production capacity, the
use of a robust industrial control system, its colour touch screen display, the automatic sliding doors and
the special design of its vacuum system, well known worldwide for its efficiency and low maintenance.

Main features
Compact design: its dimensions allow the location in confined spaces
and facilitate its installation.
Chamber and continuous jacket made of high quality stainless steel
1.4404 EN 10028-7 (AISI 316L). Total absence of cold points.
Integrated steam generator (electric or steam-steam), manufactured with
first quality components
All elements in contact with clean steam totally made of stainless steel
and triclamps connection.
Vacuum system by means of ejector (Venturi effect) with water
recirculation pump and tank saver: low maintenance, silent and effective.
Low water consumption.
Heat recovery system of condensates. It helps the elimination of non-
condensable gases and achieve energy saving.
Independent control and register by means of doble PLC (one of them
built into the touch screen).
High visibility backlit front panel incorporating a number of LED indicators
that help the user to know the machines status rapidly and easily.
Fitted with chamber and steam manometers, as well as illuminated signs
from the emergency stop button activation.
Full access to the devices components as much from the lateral as from
the front side (opens entirely) facilitating the maintenance of the sterilizer.
Standard Ethernet connection that allows high connectivity for peripherals
(printers, PC, bar codes,...).
Direct connectivity to our monitoring software and possibility of connection
to the most common traceability software including overall management.

Loading rack made of stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304), designed for
maximum ease of workflow in the preparation area with robust shelves.
Lightweight, durable, dismountable and versatile.
Transport trolley (loading and unloading): electric regulation of the height
of the upper platform, with possibility to memorize 3 positions to
facilitate the work in areas with different heights. Specially designed for
work in areas with very high hygiene levels with fully covered electric
components: avoid dirt accumulation and easy to clean. Available in
manual version.
Automatic loading and unloading systems that offer great ergonomics
and reduce the physical effort of staff. Whereas its total flexibility
enables you to adapt to different working methods (with or without
loading chassis, platforms, ...).
