MooCup finals interview with winner

As you already know yesterday was the final Cup of Random Race + Random Hero MooCup.
The Cup itself had many interesting games because players didn't know what hero they will get
and what race should they be forced to play with. Additionally, the luck factor was one of the
most decisive ones followed by the skill of the players itself. In some games we had race and
hero disadvantage where player had to play with his less played race and with a hero who is not
very sustainable with the race itself. We had some very interesting games... For example, double
lich in Rudan's game vs LexBg, PitLord and Alchemist vs Rexxar and Crypt Lord in Sonik vs
Champagnepapy etc. You can check all the replays on our site.

In this unordinary WC3 series we had Best of 5 finals between Sonik (UA) and Lucifer (KR)
which ended after all 5 games in favor of Sonik winning; beating his opponent in a comeback
from 1:2 to 3:2.

Today with us is Ilya Malish, a well known streamer and WC3 player from Ukraine, better
known by his alias Sonik.

ESL-Vanilla: Hello Sonik, how are you?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: Nice, so here we are with some questions about you and about the last cup you won
here on ESL. First round vs ChampAgnepapy was pretty close, both games ended
without Gold Mines so it was like - nedostotok zolota for you and him, yet you
managed to win the game can you tell us how it felt to play on the edge in the
very first round of this cup...

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: Good, next two matches were pretty ok, except for one against LexBg where you
lost on Terenas Stand Undead mirror... Your Drow Ranger was nuked out twice,
but you managed to win the 3rd game and secure your place into finals against
Luci...

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: How was it playing vs Luci ? He is also progamer so you probably played with him
in the past... So what was your experience with Luci and how does it feel to beat
one of the top tier players in the world ?
Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: Interesting... So I have few more questions about your past Back in 2010 you was a
team Captain of team Ukraine on ENC can you tell us something about those
days?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: OK. What about Kas and Bly they both switched to Starcraft II and you stayed
''loyal'' to WC3. Have you ever considered playing another game? (e.g. starcraft II)

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: So, I would like now to move onto recent events which occurred with you if you
would like to give us some answers regarding them...

In other WC3 communities people are not liking you very much, but in our Cups
you showed exemplary behavior... So, can you tell us why is that so?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: You mentioned Gera community, can you tell us why did they ban you there?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: You are also a streamer, so can you tell us how is it like to be Warcraft 3 streamer?
Do you live up to your expectations and are there enough donations for
WC3 players who are also streamers?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: Foggy is also a good player coming from Ukraine, as we already mentioned you
were team Captain for Ukraine in 2009/10 on ESL, since then were you active in
WC3? And how come that Foggy now advanced to your level, and sometimes he
beat you in some major cups?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla:The most recent event is GCS. Can you tell us what happened during qualifications?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: What is your relationship with other pro players? (e.g. Hawk, Happy etc.)

Sonik:
ESL-Vanilla: What is your opinion about other managers (and players) from the community?
Would you like to share some of your experience in the Community?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: What about Arson club in China? Can you tell us something more about that and
rumors regarding it?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: What about sponsors? This wasn't the first Cup you've won, how would you rate
them and were there any problems regarding the transfers and prizes?

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: So before we end this interview can you tell us something about your overall
experience in WC3. Something about ESL and what could we improve or change
in our system.

Sonik:

ESL-Vanilla: Thank you Sonik it was pleasure talking with you. Do you have any message to
your fans out there.
