MFE/ ALA:
MFE/ ALA are leadership conferences that help FFA members develop further
social skills. MFE is for sophomores, while ALA is for juniors and seniors. These
conferences take place in January. Payments for these conferences are due by September
On the 23rd of this month, FFA members will have the opportunity to earn an
activity point by cleaning up at the truck and tractor pull at the Stampede Grounds in
Clements at 9:00 a.m. If you have any further questions please ask your AG teacher.
Grape Mural
Last week on Tuesday we took our grape mural to set it up at the Grape Festival. The
work consisted of many hard hours among the members, parents, and our Ag teachers.
We are grateful for all those members who helped with the set up. The chapter couldnt
have done it without the help of you guys. Let me tell you guys that our mural was
looking great and placed 1st in the category of best theme used.

Lodi FFA will have a fundraiser at ricks pizza on September 28. This will be our first
fundraiser of the year so if you are interested in coming please make sure to have a flyer
so the proceeds come back are able to come back to Lodi FFA.
Third Grade Field Day
Third grade field day is to be held on September 22nd between 2nd and 4th
period. Third graders will come to the Lodi High school farm where volunteers from
within the chapter will teach them about different animals or will lead them to each
station. The opportunity to sign up to be a volunteer has passed but if you would like to
participate be sure to sign up next year. For those of you who are volunteering please
where a Lodi FFA shirt, appropriate pants and shoes, bring snacks and water because you
will be outside, and be on your best behavior. Remember we are teaching third graders
and we are representing Lodi FFA. Please go to the school farm right after first period
and remember you will be attending late lunch. Thank you to those of you who
volunteered.
