READING COMPREHENSION
WHOSE IS THIS?
In Luceros classroom, there are 25 students. Every day at least 10 of them leave their
belongings. They leave pencils, pens, sweaters, lunch boxes, books, notebooks,
crayons, pencil pooches, book bags etc. Once a week she returns the items that were left
behind. Today she has fifteen things to return. Whose red sweater is this? She asked.
Its mine sally states I left it yesterday. Whose box of crayons is this? Miss Lucero it
belongs to Carlos. It is Carlos crayons I will put them in his desk Mary said. Whose
blue book bag is this? I own that blue book bag Juan calls out. Whose lunch boxes are
these? No one answers. Does anybody know whose lunch boxes these belong to? I
think they belong to Tom and Harry but they are not in class today the children
explained. Whose notebook is this? It is mine Miss Lucero Mary said. Whose red pen is
this? Asked Miss Lucero. Mrs. Teresa left that red pen here. It belongs to her. Whose
books are those? Does books are Susanas. Whose ruler is this? The ruler belongs to me
Sandra states. Whose silver pen? The silver pen is mine Alfredo shouts. Miss Lucero
had many more things to return. Children shouted Miss Lucero come, look at the rest of
the items, and see whose they are. Make sure that if the item is yours to mark them, and
if they are left behind again I will know whose item belong to whom.
