AGRICULTURE INTO THE FARMS ?

ABSTRACT
This research discusses the socio-economic changes of the people of Padaluyu
Village, Cugenang Sub-district, Cianjur Regency, due to broiler farming. This
reaserch aims to determine the community response to Broiler chicken livestock,
Socio-economic changes that occur, and the impact caused. This research used
qualitative approach and case study method. The data collected with observation
technique, interview and documentation study. The research informant consists of
the institution in Padaluyu, livestock officers and the people who got the impact.
The result of this research shows that the community responses to the existence of
farms are reactive, counter, and apathetic. The positive impact of the increase in
the economy of the surrounding community, in the form of contribution of
livestock owners. Active participation and teamwork is the most effective effort as
in controlling the changes that occur.
