15 kV - 38 kV AIR to AIR Bushing
Bushing Description
These bushings have top self-cleaning
sheds or skirts, which are designed for
outdoor applications. The shanks of
the bushings have petticoats in order
to meet their ratings where AIR to AIR
applications are required. They will
have semi-conductive glazing where
higher voltage ratings apply.
A solid copper conductor is mounted
through the center of the bushing,
sized depending on the current rating
required. The conductor is held in place
by Aluminum end caps at the top and

bottom. Each conductor is provided High Quality Wet Process
with standard threads at the top and
with a 2-hole flattened spade at the Porcelain Design
bottom.

The bushing mounts to the tank by Aluminum Clamps

The gasket is then installed over the
