with people from around the world
Qatar Foundation (QF) is committed to
achieving its vision of unlocking human
potential, through its leading work in the
fields of education, science and research, and
community development. It also plays a big
role in innovation in the Middle East, and the
world, by supporting Qatar on its journey from
a carbon economy to a knowledge economy.
Due to the increasing number of VIPs,
government officials, academic institutions
and members of the general public requesting
tours of our facilities, we have developed a
set of visitor tour and information guidelines
to ensure that every visit is a rewarding
experience.
These guidelines and a tour booking request
form will not only make bookings easier,
they will also guarantee that each tour is
customized according to your specific needs
and interests.
We are delighted to share QFs vision with

the vital role we are playing in shaping the

Tour guidelines
Thank you for your interest in visiting Qatar
Foundation (QF). It is our pleasure to offer
visitors a tour customized to each groups
unique interests in order to ensure an
unparalleled experience for all attendees.
We welcome your comments and feedback.
Organized visitor tours are a priority for QF.
We host many visitors each year, which
requires that certain policies and procedures
apply to each tour. We request that all visitors
review and accept these guidelines before
submitting a tour request.
1. Complete the visitors form and submit it
to the Communication Directorate at least
four working days before the requested
tour date.
Please ensure that all details are filled in
correctly and that a senior representative
from the organization has signed and
approved the request. The form can be
downloaded from the QF website at
www.qf.org.qa/tours or copies can be
requested by contacting the Department
directly on +974 44 540 953. Please note
that while we do our best to accommodate
you, all requests are subject to availability.
2. A representative from the Communication
Directorates Event Department will
contact group organizers upon receipt
of the request and confirm the tour
program based on options selected on
the visitors form.
3. Upon confirmation with the selected
campuses and/or centers, the group
organizer will receive a full tour program
with a map via fax or email. Maps are also
available at www.qf.org.qa/map.
The program will contain contact details
of each representative from the campus or
center appointed to facilitate the tour.
4. Visitors are required to make their own
transportation arrangements to QF and
must submit suitable identification to the
gate security desk where a temporary entry
pass will be provided. Identification will be
returned to visitors when they leave via the
same gate.
5. It is critical that visitors arrive on time
and contact their first tour facilitator
immediately. Upon completion of each
tour, tour representatives will liaise with the
next campus or center facilitator to ensure
visitors are met on arrival.
6. Following the tour, visitors must exit
through the same gate they arrived, to
return their temporary pass and collect
their identification.

Policy
QFs expanding international profile means
that increasing numbers of VIPs, senior
government officials and members of the
general public are interested in learning
more about the unique facilities at QF. Due
to the high number of tour requests, QF
has developed a set of Visitors Policies and
Procedures. These guidelines help ensure that
every visit is handled with a high degree of
professionalism, that the visitors information
needs are accommodated as fully
as possible, and that the values and mission
of QF are effectively represented for visitors.
To ensure the highest level of service, please
read the procedures below, complete the
provided visitors form, and submit it to the
Communication Directorates Protocol and
Visitors Relations Unit.
Photography and filming
All requests for photography and filming
should be communicated in advance on
the visitors form. Requests for additional
information are handled on a case-by-case
basis. Filming without prior permission is
strictly prohibited.
Tour times
Tours are available from Sunday to Thursday
from 8.30am. The last tour commences at
2.30pm.
