TOO vs NOT ENOUGH

too + adjective / adverb not + adjective / adverb + enough

* We didnt play tennis yesterday. It was
too cold.
* We couldnt swim. The water was too
cold.
* Id like to buy this jacket, but it is too
expensive.
* We couldnt hear the music. It wasnt
loud enough.
* We couldnt swim. The water wasnt
hot enough.
* We need another ladder. This one isnt
long enough

After too and not enough we can use the to-infinitive or for + noun / pronoun

* Hes too young to go to work.

* Hes not old enough for the job.
