Proficient Distinctive
Brief description of nature and location of evidence
All lesson plans and unit plans that have a rationale for evidence can be
found under the Practice tab. Evidence of my video teaching can be found
on the DVDs that were delivered separately from this online portfolio.
One clip on this DVD is from ED 338, the other is from ED 315.
Evidence of planning and preparation is evident in every
lesson and both unit plans. These can be found by clicking on
the Practice tab. All of these lessons/unit plans relate to the
CCSS (with the exception of the sequence of art lessons).
There are a variety of lessons on this page, including all four
content areas as well as art. Some lessons had materials that
belong with them, there are files underneath the scribd
document for you to view.
Each lesson is a little different from the rest. You can see my
use of the blackboard in the second clip of my teaching DVD.
This lesson also correlates to my 4th grade literacy lesson if
you click on the Practice tab. You can see my use of a hands-
on turkey in the first clip of my teaching DVD. This lesson
 also correlates to my Kindergarten math lesson if you click on
the Practice tab.

dedicated to the other aspects of Alverno that has helped to shape who I am as a person and as an educator. Overall, I think that I did well at choosing
evidence to support who I am as a teacher. Im still learning how to connect theory to my lesson plans or how to state evidence clearly but I did well in
my opinion. It was nice to see how far Ive come!
