Lab Report: Uniform motion

By: Christian Lockley

Date: Sept 16, 2017
:

Variables:

Independent Variable:

Distance between begining of air track and start and stop points on for each trail.
Dependent Variable:

Time needed for cart to pass light sensor

Materials:

Air track.
Cart

Procedure:

1. Place cart at pre determined location near the end of air track.
2. Release cart, attached spring will propel cart over the track, past the sensors.
3. Read time after cart passes the second sensor.

Conclusion:
The time needed for the air track is relatively constant, thus proving uniformity of motion.
