2. What is unique about this campus? It is the only polytechnic school in Canada,
which means that it involves learning with a hands-on approach to the learning.
3. What kind of programs are offered? Some of the programs offered include:
Anthropology, Criminology, Journalism, and Political Science.
4. What is the application deadline? The application deadline for Kwantlen in the
spring is March 1st for the Early Application Deadline, and December 1st for the
Final Application Deadline.
6. After I have been accepted, how do I register? After youve been accepted,
(and your registration time and date has arrived), register by going to Online
Self-Service > Student Menu > Registration > Search for Classes to Add. You
can also go to Add/Drop Classes if you know the 5-digit CRN number for your
desired courses.
7. How do I know what classes to register for? Use the online Timetables to plan
your courses for the semester. You must plan a conflict free timetable -
including the final exams. If you need help with your course or timetable
planning, please contact Academic Advising.
8. What is the average class size? Average class size is about 30 people with a
maximum of 35 people per class.
9. How do you provide academic advice to students? There are several different
advising teams at KPU to assist you as you progress towards graduation. The
advising teams are: Central Advising, Academic & Career Advancement

10. Where are the best places to study on campus? Some of the best places to
study on campus include Study rooms, the Library, and even some empty
classrooms, and also the cafeteria.
12. How can I get involved with athletics or clubs and societies? You can get
involved by inquiring with the KSA Clubs Coordinator and going on their
website, or going to the Sports and Recreation Department and taking a look at
all that they have.
13. How long was the tour? The tour was about 2 hours long.
14. What surprised you about campus? What surprised me about the campus was
how small the classrooms were. I always thought of universities as big lecture
halls, but seeing that they only had around 15-25 students per classroom was
surprising.
15. What did you like about the campus? What I liked about the campus were the
small-sized classrooms, and the fact that help and advice was so easily
accessible.
16. What did you not like about the campus? What I didnt like about the campus
was how there werent a lot of programs or dorms.
