II. OBJECTIVES:

1. Apply the basic techniques of constructing a dish garden.


2. Arrange plants and flowers grown together to be used as indoor/outdoor decoration.
3. Foster creative expression through dish gardening.

IV. PROCEDURES

1. Choose a pot for the dish garden.


2. Fill the pot just short of the top with soil.
3. Choose a group of compatible for the dish garden.
4. Inspect the plants before putting them in the dish garden.
5. Check for pests and remove old, yellowing leaves, dead flowers and other unwanted
plant material.
6. Set the plants in the dish garden in an aesthetically pleasing arrangement based on
how the dish garden will be viewed from all sides.
7. Add decorative stones.
8. Water the dish garden.
