UsingthevaluesthatwereestablishedinParadisesmission

statementsuchasspreadingawarenessofmentalillnessesor

havingeveryonepromotehappinesstothebettermentof

societyasawholethelogowasformed(inawaytoexpress

thosesentiments).Everyaspectofthelogoitselfhasasymbolic

meaningassociatedwithit.Therisingsunismeanttoalludeto

therisingawarenessofmentalillnessandthehopeforabrighter

andbetterday.Thiswasafundamentalaspectofmylogo,asitsintentistoshinelightonthematterof

thosewithmentalsicknesses.Thenextaspectofmylogothatwassignificantwerethepalmtrees.The

palmtreesaremeanttosymbolizethegrowththatoccurswithinpeoplewhentheyareenlightenedtothe

realityofmentalillnesses.Youcouldsaythepalmtreeswerethesecondlayertotheoverallsignificance

ofthelogo,asinnergrowthandhappinessiswhatParadiseisreallytryingtostrivetowards.Thewater

isthethirdlayertotheoverallimportanceofthelogo.Itisthereinanattempttohighlightthecalming

andacceptingnaturethatshouldbeadoptedwhendealingwiththosewithmentalillnesses.In

summationyoucandefinethethreelayersasfollows:Thesun:acknowledgment.Thetrees:inner

growthandsupport.Thewater:acceptanceandtranquility.Onceyouputalloftheseaspectstogether

thelogoismeanttosymbolizeahavenofperfectcontent,inshortaparadise.

Colour Palette

Thecolourpalettewechoseforthewebsiteis

supposedtomirrorthelogocoloursthemselves.The

sunrisecolourofcoarseissupposedtorepresentthe

sunandbeachinthelogo.Asforthetopaz,cerulean,

andicicle:thesecoloursaremeanttorepresentthe

transitionfromtheocean(cerulean)tothesky(blue

topaz)andfinallytheraysofthesunshine(icicle).

Anotherreasonwechosethisspecificcolourpalette

wasthatitspoketothecalmingnaturewewantto

embody.Usingsoftcoloursthataresubtleenoughto

enjoy,yetboldenoughtorepresentabeautiful

morningsunrise,thispaletteinitselfrepresentsthe

truenatureofparadise.

Thisimageisalsoanimportantrepresentationofthedigitalmarketingportfolio,andwillbeusedonthe

Paradisewebsite.Thebackgroundwechosehadtocontinuethethemeofhappinessandenlightenment

thatwassuchavitalsymbolinmylogo.Ithenfountthispicture,whichwethoughtaccurately,

representedtheseimportantaspects.Themountainsandoceanaresupposedtoinvokeanideaofa

journeyorexplorationtoadistantdestination.Thisissupposedtomimicthejourneypeopletakeinlife

andalsothecaptioninspirehappinessthenreaffirmsthejourneyofhelpingothersthroughoutyour

life.Furthermore,thebluecolourschemecontinueswiththeideaofacceptanceandtranquilitythatwas

apparentinthewaterofthelogo.Thisisnoteworthybecauseitshowsthecohesivenessofthemarketing

material.

Thesecondsupportingimagewemayuseinmywebsiteand

orpromotionofparadisewouldbethissimplifiedversionof

theactuallogo.Thisadaptionwithoutwater,andwithouta

sandbankandmoreofanovalissupposedtomakethe

audienceconcentrateonthenameofthecompanyitself

Paradise.Usingthissimplifiedversionwillbebeneficialinthatitwontdistractviewersawayfrom

themainpoint,whichisthecompanyanditmissionstatement.

Thebanneradvertisementisaveryimportantpieceof

theoverdesignportfoliointhatitisthefirstitemthat

combinesthecolourpaletteselectionwiththelogo.

Anotherinterestingaspectofthebanneristhatthe

ocean(cerulean)andthesky(bluetopaz)colourswere

twitchedwiththetext.Wedidthisinordertoshowa

bettertransitionbetweenthetextlogo,andthenback

againtothetext.Thebanneralsohasagoodamountofwhitespace.Ididthisinordertomakelogoand

thetextthatmuchmoreprominentintheoverallpresentationofthematerial.
