Born in Brooklyn, August 1914 as Peretz Rosenbaum
He attended Pratt Institute, the New School for Design, the Art Students
League, and Yale University
Started as a stock image photographer while he developed a sense for
graphic design
He quickly became a success story and was recognized internationally in
his twenties
He is one of the originators of the Swiss Style of graphic design
