Ingredients:
2 eggs
2 salam leaves
4 shallots
3 cloves garlic
A pinch of salt
Method:
1. Mix well the ground beef with coconut milk and egg
2. Add the smooth ground spice mix
4. Take one table-spoon-full of the meat-mix and put it on a piece of banana leaf
5. Top the meat with the chili slice (if you want it to have a kick)
6. Wrap the meat-mix with the banana leaf and seal it with a tooth pick (some people
even use stappler)
7. Arrange the wrapped meat- mix on a steamer and steam for about 30 minutes or
until well cooked
8. Serve warm
Notes:
You can substitute the banana leaves with aluminum foil for the wrap or use casserole
dish as a container to steam the meat-mix.
