Hello and welcome to the December 2017 edition of Holden Torque. The official publication
of the 48 to 78 Holden Car Club Hunter Valley Inc. On the cover this month is Ray and Lisa
Cooks FX looking splendid in the foyer at West Leagues Club.
Congratulations to all who presented their cars at the clubs display day, they looked great.
Anyone keen to go on the Bikers Toy Run this Sunday please let Phil Ryan know so we can

turn out at the Club Presentation Day. Please see the Events Report for the Trophy winners.

December 10th. Maddie Hill breast cancer day,


Newcastle Go-Kart track, Cameron Park.
Is shaping up to be another top day and we will be running the Rocker cover racing on the
day so I will need a couple of helpers to run that.
It would be great to see the club get behind this and support Maddie and Barry who do so
much for the car community.

Commencing 12 Jan 2018 Friday Chill
Come down each Friday 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Pacific Park, Newcastle, to hear
local musicians perform. Bring your picnic rug, drinks, snacks and friends down for a good
time! Donations collected go to the work of Soul Cafe.
