Because this is a pass or fail course, I believe a rubric based on not yet meeting and meeting will be the best assessment tool.
Criteria Not Yet Meeting Meeting
TQS Outcomes: -Is able to clearly link theory and research to practice -Is able to link theory and research to educational technology. Purpose/Audience Outlined: -Presents a clear defined purpose -Audience is clearly stated Content and Artifacts: -At least 2 artifacts are chosen for each category -original content is included from ETEC Organization / Navigation / Structure: -There is a metaphor or a clear theme throughout the ePortfolio -Able to navigate easily from page to page -Visually appealing -Includes a virtual tour -Links are live (internal and external) Writing Conventions and References: -All citations follow proper APA guidelines -There may be one or two small errors but does not distract from the intended meaning. Reflections: -Highlight evidence of professional/personal growth -Each category has a reflection piece -Connects learning to practice -Synthesizes learning from beginning to the end of the program
