PART 2 OBJECTIVES

Overview of Drill Scenario:

Information was received that a bomb was planted on board. Crew responded by
informing the PFSO of the threat who then summons the assistance of the Fire
Department. On board the crew conducted a search using the guidance of the search
plan and procedures of the Ship Security Plan (SSP). An improvised explosive device
(IED) was found in a trash bag in the garbage container resulting in the changing of the
Security Level to Level III and the subsequent evacuation of the ship.

Objectives:

The objectives of this drill are to evaluate
