Flipped classroom:
CELEX is currently working with the Flipped learning approach, which
implies doing autonomous work at home before you get to the classroom.
Be ready to have questions, and fully interact in class and work
autonomously outside the classroom with your peers.
Every week, your teacher will send you different materials such as videos,
reading exercises, podcast and others. This material will be about a new
topic that will be discussed and practised in class. In addition, youll
receive some instructions and a worksheet with that material.
In general, in every class, you will work in groups. Chairs are arranged in
circles of 4 or 5 to accomplish this objective.
Autonomous learning consists of extensive reading, online practice,
collaborative learning.
You will be requested to work in cooperative teams in the classroom, and
collaborative teams outside the classroom
Micro-presentations on familiar topics will be done in class.

In Class
During the semester, youll have 60 class hours, this is 2 weekly sessions
of two hours each.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will be marked absent for
that hour and the teacher will not let you in the class. Please come back
for the next hour of class.
The use of the mobile phone is strictly for academic activities.
Please do not eat or drink anything (except water) in class.
You must bring all your material, either physical or digital, to every class.
If you do not have the right material, the teacher can ask you to leave the
class.
You must not miss more than 22 hours of class to pass the course. There
are no justified absences. (Reglamento 1206, Art 23).

learned during the autonomous work.
English should be used in class, in order to communicate with your teacher
and classmates.
Remember to be respectful with your teacher and classmates.
Be ethical on every piece of work you do. Plagiarism will be penalized.
