Teacher Lis Note:

There are probably more than nine hundred different English 900 books on the

market. This book is definitely the most useful. It is Crazy English 900. If you are going to learn

This book consists of showoff, survival, communication, pronunciation, quotes

and sentence patterns. You can thoroughly conquer English by thoroughly mastering every

section of this book!

Kims special reminder:

According to research, to truly make a sentence a permanent part of your speaking

vocabulary, you must repeat it at least several hundred times. This means, in order to sound

natural and fluent you must put in the effort and commitment it takes to repeat a sentence until

you can blurt it out as easily as you breathe!

BETTER NEXT TIME

1. Have you ever regretted doing something you shouldnt have done or something
you didnt do which you should have? At one time or another we probably all have. Theres
no point in getting depressed about it now its no use crying over spilt milk. However, there
may be some gain in thinking about exactly what happened and why because we might be able
to draw some con-clusions for the future.
2. One thing we all do now and again is lose our temper with a friend or close relative.
The odd thing is that we more often display great anger towards someone we are fond of than
towards strangers. The explanation may be that we see steam in a safe environment, while the
consequences of insulting a stranger could be far more serious.
3. Being honest is usually thought of as a virtue and undoubtedly this is the case. One
the other hand, we have all experienced occasions when speak-ing our minds to someone,
telling them exactly what we feel, and then have found ourselves filled with feelings of guilt.
Perhaps we should have kept our mouths shut?

Education in the USA

[1] Children start school when they are five years old in America. In some states they must
stay in school untill they are sixteen. Most students are seventeen or eighteen years old when
they leave high schools. There are two kinds of chools in America: public schools and private
schools. Most children go to public school receive money from the country. If a child goes to
a private school, his parents have to get enough money for his schooling. Some parents still
prefer private school, though they are much more expensive.
[2] Today about half of the high school students go on to universities after they finish high
school. A student at a state university doesnt have to pay very much if his parents live in that
state.
[3] But many students work while they are studying at universities. In this way they develop
their good working skills and live on their own.

and some other subjects. Others go to school to learn skills to make a living. School education

teacher cannot teach his students everything they want to know. The teachers job is to show his
students how to learn. He teaches them how to read and how to think. So, many things will be
learned outside school by the students themselves.
2. It is always more important to know how to study by oneself than to remember
some formulas. It is very easy to learn a formula in a math problem. Great scientists before us

Successful Communication 100

Everybody knows Charlie Chaplin, a world-famous comic actor. People everywhere have
laughed at Charlie Chaplins films until tears ran down their faces. From his first appearance,
they know what will happen. The little man always has a black moustache, wide-open eyes, a
round black hat and shoes too large for his feet. Hell sreuggle through snow and fall from
windows. Hell fight men who are twice his size, fall in love with women, who hardly notice
him, and try to hug them.
The little tramp that Charlie Chaplin played in dozens of films makes all kinds of stupid
mistakes. He is always in trouble, but he never gives up. He dreams of becoming a great man.
Even people who dont understand English can enjoy Chaplins films, because they are
mostly silent. It isnt what he say that makes people laugh. His comedy doesnt depend on words.
It depends on little actions which mean the same thing to people all over the world.
Chaplin raises his thick eyebrows or rolls his eyes. He hides behind a fat lady or under a
table to escape from his enemies. He dresses well and pretends to be a rich and important man.

[1] In north American when people meet each other for the fist time, they take about
things like family, work , school or sports. They ask questions like do you have any brothers
or sisters? where do you work? What school do you go to? Do you like sports? they
also ask queation like Where do you come from? and where do you live? these are polite
questions. They are not personal or provate.
[2] But some things are personal or private, and queations about them are not polite.

Most Americans dont like to get advice from members of their families. When they

need advice, they dont usually ask people they know. Instead, many Americans write letters

to newspapers and magazines. They can get advice on many different subjects, such as family

problems, the use of language, health, cooking, child care, clothes, and how to buy a house

or a car. Most newspapers print letters from readers with proplems. There are answers written

by doctors, lawyers or educators. But two of the most famous writers of advice are women

without special training for this kind of work. One of them is called Dear Abby by readers

and the other is called Dear Ann Landers. Experience is their preparation for giving advice.

[1] It is easier to go downhill than to climb uphill, so it is easier to fall into bad habits
than into good ones.
[2] bad habits dont come suddenly. They come little without one being aware of their
danger. Schoolboys first pick up little bad habits from schoolmates. If they see bigger boys
smoke, they also want to learn to smake. If they see their friends gambling, they want to
gamble, too. When they get old-er the habits become stronger and stronger, so that they can
no longer get rid of them. From copying , they learn to steal. From gambling, they learn to
cheat. At last on onne would beieve in them. How necessary it is that we get rid of the bad
habits in the very beginning.

One day a student asked him, My dear teacher, didnt you say you yourself have many

Since mine is larger, the line that marks out the circle is what is longer. That means I have
more opportunities to face what is still unknown. And thats why I myself have more
questions than you do. The more you learn, the more questions you have. You will never

Limitlessness

[1] The final lesson you must learn is limitlessness. It is the sense that there are no
boundaries to what you can become or do. You learn it when you know that your evolution
is never-ending and your potential for growth reaches to infinity.
[2] You were born knowing your limitlessness. As you grew and became so-cialized in
this world, however, you might have come to believe that there are boundaries that prevent
you from reaching the highest levels of spiritual, emotional, able to transcend them, you learn
the lesson of limitlessness.
[3] In this world, we have countless people who have proven that a person can do
whatever he or she strives to do.

Guidelines for Setting Goals

1. Put your goals in writing. This dramatically increases the likelihood of

achieving those goals. Remember: ink them, dont just think them!
2. Envision your dreams. Take time to close your eyes and visualize yourself
accomplishing your dream. Then imagine the steps you will take to get there. You
are on your way if you can see yourself achieving the goal down the road.
3. Set goals that are meaningful. If all you do is write a list of goals that would be
nice to accomplish, forget it. In order to achieve goals, you must have a strong desire
to do so.
4. Prioritize your goals in relation to their importance to you and your long-ter,
objectives.
5. Set a time period or target date for each goal. Many people have goals they
have dreamed of for years, but fail to accomplish them. Having goals without a time
frame is not motivating.

125 | S U P E R E N L I S H
900 CU GIAO TIP THNG DNG THEO PHNG PHP SUPER ENGLISH

6. Make your goals speacific and measurable. You have to be able to monitor your
peogress and celebrate victories.
7. Set goals that are challenging, but realistic. Stretch yourself, but make sure that
you are not setting goals that are out of reach because you havent taken the necessary
steps to get there.
8. Your goals should be flexible to allow for un-planned changes. Be ready to
adjust your goals so you wont be tempted to give up on them.
9. Take advantage of your given strengths and abilities.
10. The most important step now is to take action to Achieve Your Dreams!

1. In most ways my life is close to

my ideal.
2. The conditions of my life are
excellent.
3. I am satisfied with my life.
4. So far I have gotten the
important things I want in life
5. If I could live my life over, I
would change almost nothing!
6. At the end of every day I feel
