Reginal connectivity Gandhinagar District is surrounded by the districts of Ahmedabad, Kheda,

Sabarkantha and Mehsana. The district consists of four talukas viz. Gandhinagar,
Dehgam, Kalol and Mansa. 39 of the villages of the Gandhinagar Taluka
constitute the GUDA area. Within the GUDA area, lies the GMC area.

• Plot sizes & internal road widths (6-8 m) are comparatively small & traffic congestion is 10M x 20M = 200 SQ.M.

• Travel time for last plots is very high due to narrow roads and parking on the road.
• Open Spaces are used as parking and still not sufficient
• Many Hospitals (Approx. 25) are seen in residential area. Emergency Medical vehicles
can not reach hospital locations some times due to congestions and on road parking.

City wide Wi-Fi Services Total Population = 2.1 lakhs

Number of sectors = 30

Provision of a city wide broadband service

within the GMC area with the introduction of
clear privacy rules and cyber security system.

The initiative will help to connect the citizen as

well as floating and commuting population of
SECTORS Gandhinagar to access seamless and secure
1-30 Wi-Fi services throughout the city.
It will also be useful in case of any emergency
situation.
Two types of Wi-Fi facility shall be provided to
Citizen and Visitors of Gandhinagar city.

2. Paid Wi-Fi internet access
