It is rightly said “Today’s Science is tomorrow’s technology”. The Staff and

students of the Alpha School [CBSE] at CIT. Nagar worked on these lines to put
up an exhibition on Thursday, the 30th November, 2017. With an endeavour to
promote scientific attitude among budding young students, this exhibition was
one of its kind. The Students of our school presented many creative ideas as
exhibits. We were able to see young Faradays, Newtons, Edisons , Leonardos
and Picassos among them. The Exhibits were creative and attractive and
spanned all the different forms of art and various branches of science.

Students right from the Kindergarten to Grade 9 portrayed various projects,

models and charts on the advancements in Science, ranging from simple topics
like Air, Water, Soil , Weather, the significance of the 3 R’s to Complex topics
like Biotechnology and Nanotechnology. Apart from the above, projects on
robots also designed the arena. Visitors were given the chance to operate
Machine robots like – the Blind Guider, Types of Gears, Floor Cleaners,
Driverless cabs and Radar enabled quadbot to perform the tasks in the arena
which helped them appreciate the possibilities of robotics as a field of scientific
investigation and application. The art gallery was filled with different kinds of
art forms like clay modelling and sculpturing, one stroke paintings, portraits,
and murals.

Students also displayed exhibits in Engage learning which were innovative,

informative and illustrative. A few breath taking projects in the Engage
Learning Corner which captured the attention of the spectators were Mars on
the Budget, Honey Hunters, Penguin World, Optical Illusions, Boiling River,
Wild Weather, Fossil Finds, Tracking the Mola and Sky lights? This exhibition,
not only honed the communication skills of students, but also polished their
skills in technology and was a step forward towards their all round
development, inspiring them to be future scientists & explorers.
