A1- Maths is related to Fine Arts in a number of ways. The shapes and
figures of fine arts are often made keeping maths in mind.
Symmetry, geometry, etc. are all found in various examples of arts
worldwide.

Q2- What do you think about the relationship between them?

A2- I think that this relationship is beneficial and mutual. It is also
excellent as Fine Arts become finer with the help of Maths and vice versa.
There could not be a more interesting relationship.

Q3- Why did you choose Fine Arts as your interest? Do you think maths
increased your interest in it?
A3- I always had interest in fine arts. I liked its complicacy and beautiful
designs. Yes, I think Maths definitely increased my interest in fine arts as it

definitely be artists. This is because in arts maths is used extensively. Maths
makes Fine Arts even more beautiful and it is always fun to mix them
together.

Q2- Which mathematical concepts do you think find maximum

representation in Fine Arts?
A2- I think Mathematics has directly influenced art with conceptual tools
such as linear perspective, the analysis of symmetry, and mathematical
objects such as polyhedra and they find maximum representation in arts.
They give fine arts a new conceptual look and enhance its value.

Q3- Do you think Maths in Fine Arts should be encouraged to all artists?
Why?
A3- Yes, it should be enthusiastically encouraged. Maths helps in Fine Arts

Q1- Can the knowledge of Maths widen the scope of learning fine arts? If
yes, how?
A1- Yes, the knowledge of maths can widen the scope of learning fine arts as
it becomes easier with it. By studying mathematical concepts, we can learn
a lot in fine arts from shapes to the beauty of symmetry. It is always good to
relate two subjects which can be a great importance to each other.

Q2- Can you tell the names of some Mathematicians (or related to maths)
who were also in the field of arts?
A2-
 Piero Della Francesca
 Luca Pacioli
 John Ernest
 M.C. Escher
 Anthony Hill
 Man Ray
These are all names of Mathematicians (or related to maths) who were
also artists. Some even wrote books about maths in arts.

Q3- How can the study of Fine Arts improve the understanding of
Mathematics?
A3- By studying Fine Arts, people tend to get curious about various
concepts relating to Mathematics and therefore develop the interest of
understanding maths in order to improve their fine arts skills. It is
natural and can happen to artists all the time. Well, it figures as both are
equally intriguing subjects.
