LAB TASK # 2

TITLE:
To find out voltage and current in given AC circuit.

COMPONENTS:
Resistor, Inductor, Capacitor, Ground, Voltmeter, Ammeter and Wires.

PROCEDURE:
1. Open PSPICE, go to get new part.
2. Take necessary components:
For inductor write “L”, for capacitor “ C” , ” Vprint2” for voltmeter, i-
print for ammeter .
3. Connect all components by clicked on draw wire and assign values by
double clicked on component.
4. For AC voltage source give value to AC mag and assign 0 to AC phase.
5. Connect voltmeter in parallel and ammeter in series.
6. Go to “analysis” then “setup” enable AC sweep and double clicked it give
values:
POINTS=1 , START FREQ=50 and END FREQ=50.
7. Double click on voltmeter and write:
AC =Y , MAG=Y , PHASE=Y .
8. Do same for ammeter.
9. Go to “analysis” click simulate.
10. Again go to “analysis” and click on “examine output”.
