INTRODUCTION (5 mins.)
Classroom Routine:
 Prayer
 Cleanliness and Orderliness/Arrangement of Chairs
 Checking of Attendance/ID/Uniform

ACTIVITY
Four the Win:
- Students will be group into 4
- Each group will be ask for a 4 representative for each round
- The four representative needs to answer the question simultaneously.

Criteria: All About Region 11


(Discussion Proper) 10 minutes

Video Presentation: How Lupang Hinirang Ought to be sung

Group Discussion/Brainstorming Activity/

Oral Presentation (5-8 minutes each group)

The students will maintain their group and will be asked to discuss the following question and
later present it to the whole class:
- Historically how would you describe our National Anthem in terms of our literary history?
- What is your personal reaction about Mr. Ayala’s Rendition of our National Anthem?
- Who is Joey Ayala for you? Are you proud that Mr. Ayala came from your region?
If yes – cite some literary work of Mr.Ayala that you know
If no – Justify your answer
- As a 21st Century learner, studying 21 st Century Literature do you think it is the right time
to use Mr.Ayala’s version of our Lupang Hinirang based on our literary genre “:Kundiman.”
Discuss your answer.
INTEGRATION (5 minutes)
Generalization: As a 21st century learner, how deep is your own understanding of any
literary works from your region?
Reflection: What food for thought can we derive from the video presentation?
APPLICATION
Student’s evaluation shall be based from students’ group task performance. They shall be rated
according to the following:

a. Ability to interact with the group member- 5 points


b. Presentation skill on the assigned task- 5 points
c. Substance of answers during group presentation- 5 points
