The incidence of visual anomalies in a population of cerebral

palsied children.

Abstract
There is a relatively high incidence of visual anomalies in persons with cerebral palsy. There has
been a significant amount of investigative work into what these visual problems are. This paper
reviews the literature and explores new areas, not previously reported on, in population of cerebral
palsied children.

Effectiveness of visual training on a population of cerebral

palsied children.

For years, researchers have recognized the very high incidence of visual anomalies in the population of
children with cerebral palsy. However, little if anything has been attempted to remediate these problems.
This article describes an experimental program of visual training, applied on a daily basis, to a population
of inpatient, cerebral palsied children. After one year, the results were evaluated and the findings are
discussed.
