Description of manufacturing process

We are into manufacturing of sand castings in gray cast iron and ductile iron for various industry segments like tractors,
agriculture, construction equipment, mech. And power sector.

There are two major activities with respect to operations in Amrit Duraparts.

i) Casting
ii) Machining

Casting:
 Raw material is purchased in the form of pig-iron/ turning boring scrap / CRCA scrap
 This raw material is melted and casted with the help of sand molds and the process is called jolt-squeeze
molding.
 The products are finished in the grind shop to be delivered to the customer , where demanded as –cast ,
otherwise dispatched to the machine shop.

Machining:

 Castings are machined with the help of CNC machines according to customer design
 They are precisely checked and packed
 Then they are dispatched to the end customer.
